Acting Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources John R. Bass will travel to New York on February 27 for meetings at the United Nations and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations.
Acting Deputy Secretary Bass will meet with UN Under-Secretary-General for Management Strategy, Policy, and Compliance Catherine Pollard to renew the longstanding U.S. commitment to the United Nations.
Acting Deputy Secretary Bass will meet with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to reiterate the U.S. commitment to the humanitarian relief efforts in Turkey and Syria. He will also meet with senior leadership at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, including Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield and Ambassador to the UN for Management and Reform Christopher Lu.
