ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day
ANZAC Day

On behalf of the United States of America, I am honored to join in commemorating ANZAC Day this April 25, 2024, alongside Australia and New Zealand.

Today, we pay homage to the valor and sacrifice of the ANZAC forces who epitomized courage during the Gallipoli Campaign. We reflect, too, on the debt of gratitude we all owe our servicepeople. Their unwavering dedication to defending freedom and democracy serves as an enduring testament to the ideals we hold dear.

In recognizing the sacrifices of the past and the steadfast commitment of our service members, we reaffirm the unbreakable bonds of friendship and partnership between our nations. From the trenches of World War I to the present-day challenges, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand have stood shoulder to shoulder in defense of shared values and principles.

On this ANZAC Day, let us honor the legacy of our fallen heroes by rededicating ourselves to the pursuit of peace and prosperity.
