The horrors of 7 October 2023 are burned into the collective memory of Am Yisrael. And now, the murders of Shira Babis and her two young sons, Ariel and Kfir—strangled by Arab terrorists in Gaza—have once again shattered the illusion that coexistence is possible. These are not isolated incidents. They are the continuation of an unbroken campaign of terror against the Jewish people, one that began long before the modern State of Israel was established and has never ceased.
In the face of this relentless brutality, the long-overdue resurgence of Rabbi Meir Kahane’s vision is no longer just necessary—it is inevitable. What Rabbi Kahane, זצ"ל, warned about throughout his life has never been more true. Israel was established as a homeland for us, the Jewish people, a refuge after the Shoah, yet Jews are still being slaughtered in their own land. The failed policies of compromise, appeasement, and endless negotiations have led us here. The time for illusions is over.
A Jewish State for Jews
The State of Israel was never meant to be a "state of all its citizens." It was created to be a Jewish state, the one place in the world where Jews would be safe, secure, and sovereign over our destiny. Yet from the moment of its birth, Israel has been forced to fight for survival against those who seek its destruction. The terrorists in Gaza, the murderers in Yehudah and Shomron, and their enablers inside Israel itself have no intention of stopping.
Kahane saw this clearly decades ago. He did not entertain fantasies of peace with those who reject Israel’s very existence. He understood that for Jews to live safely in our homeland, we must exercise exclusive sovereignty over it. That means an unapologetic, unwavering commitment to Jewish strength, self-defense, and national identity.
The Failure of Coexistence
The failed experiment of coexistence has cost us thousands of lives. Time and again, Israel has made concessions, signed agreements, and withdrawn from our lands in a desperate bid for peace—only to be rewarded with more terror. Oslo was a disaster. The disengagement from Gaza was a disaster. Every so-called peace initiative that involved trusting our enemies has ended in more Jewish bloodshed.
And yet, despite decades of betrayal and terror, the political establishment continues to cling to the fantasy that the Arab population within and around Israel will one day accept, and even celebrate Jewish sovereignty. The reality is that they will not. They have made their position clear through words, actions, and rivers of Jewish blood.
Rabbi Kahane did not call for coexistence—he called for Jewish survival. He understood that a state that does not put its own people first will not survive. And he was right.
The Need for Jewish Strength
Jewish strength is not merely a slogan; it is the foundation of our survival. We must reclaim the security of our land with policies that reflect this fundamental truth: Eretz Yisrael belongs to Am Yisrael alone. There is no room for those who seek our destruction. There is no room for an enemy population that harbors, aids, and celebrates the murder of our children.
Those who reject Jewish sovereignty should not remain in the Jewish state. There must be zero tolerance for terror, zero negotiations with those who seek our harm, and zero illusions about the true nature of our enemies. The world may criticize, as it always has, but our duty is to Am Yisrael, not to the so-called international community that abandoned us during the Shoah and now demands that we make ourselves vulnerable once more.
The Future is Ours—If We Choose It
The resurgence of support for Rabbi Kahane’s vision is not a fringe movement—it is the natural response to decades of failed policies and the unbearable price of Jewish lives. The people of Israel are awakening to what should have been clear all along: survival requires strength, not compromise.
We have reached a turning point. The policies of appeasement and restraint have failed. The left’s empty slogans about democracy and equality mean nothing when Jewish blood runs in the streets. The time for excuses is over.
Jewish survival requires Jewish sovereignty. Jewish sovereignty requires Jewish strength. That was Kahane’s message—and today, it is our mission.
Am Yisrael Chai.
