Júlia Tóth

My great, great-grandfather was Benjamin Toth, who married Agnes Kiss and their daughter was Julia Toth, who married Michael Simon in New York City.

This Oral history interview with Júlia Tóth reminds me of my family; some of whom made it out of Hungary to New York and others who did not and are listed by Yad Vashem as victims of the Shoah.

Just like at Purim when (even if we cannot understand Hebrew), we listen to every word of the Megillat Esther, we must listen to the words of these Oral Histories.
