18 Social Workers and Welfare Organization Honored With Sant Ishwar Samman 2022


Social workers and welfare organizations engaged in the welfare of the society across the country were honored "Sant Ishwar Samman 2022" in the presence of Union Minister of State Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi and P.P. Juna Peethadhishwer Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.


Bhanumati Narasimhan of Art of Living received Sant Ishwar Vishisht Seva Samman. Bhanumathi Narasimhan, Art of Living started the organization with 30 children in Bangalore, Karnataka, working for women's education, prisoner rehabilitation, poverty alleviation, women's health awareness, vocational training to over 8000 women, and over 170000 women across the country made self-reliant.


The other 17 awardees are Puithiyam Roreliana from Mizoram, Kaushalya Ravindra Hegde from Karnataka, Sonam Dunden Lepcha from Sikkim, Mevalal Patidar from Madhya Pradesh, Ram Kumar Singh (Vishisht Sewa Award) from Gujarat, Neelkanth Gau Vigyan Kendra from Gujarat Kutch, Palle Srijan from Telangana, Shri Guruji Gyan Mandir of Gujarat, Mukti Sanstha from Jammu, Savitri Bai Phule Mahila Ekatma Mandal from Maharashtra, Vande Mataram Yuva Mission from Bihar were given Sant Eshwar Sewa Samman. Vande Mataram Yuva Mission from Gaya(Bihar), Umendra Dutt of Punjab, Dr. Tapesh Mathur from Rajasthan, Sanchindanand Bharti from Uttarakhand, Banband Losu from Arunachal Pradesh, Major Surendra Narayan Mathur from Rajasthan and Khushhali Foundation from Uttar Pradesh.


On this auspicious occasion book, Seva Paramo Dharma is released. According to Kapil Khanna, President of Sant Ishwar Foundation, this year Sant Eshwer Award is completing the century (100) of awarding honors.


Sant Ishwar Samman is given for achievements in four areas – Tribal, Rural Development, Women-Child Development, and Special Contribution in Arts, Literature, Environment, Health, and Education.
