Sensible Britain: Education That Prepares, Not Indoctrinates

Let’s talk about what really matters in the classroom: preparing young people for life — not filling their heads with political agendas.

Too many parents tell us the same thing: their children aren’t learning enough maths, science, or history, but they’re getting daily lessons in identity politics, activist thinking, and ideological nonsense.

At Sensible Britain, we say: enough.

We will refocus education on core skills, real knowledge, and preparing pupils for the real world — not political theatre.

Let Teachers Teach — and Let Kids Learn

We trust our teachers — but we also know many are being pressured by ever-changing trends and activist agendas. Schools are supposed to equip children with the tools to succeed — to read well, write clearly, think critically, and solve problems.

Instead, we’ve allowed the curriculum to be hijacked.

Here’s what we’ll do:

• Bring education back to basics — reading, writing, arithmetic, real science, and British history.

• Ban political activism in the classroom — including staff wearing campaign symbols, promoting ideologies, or influencing students' beliefs.

• Focus on discipline, respect, and resilience — not feelings over facts.

• Encourage real life preparation — financial literacy, digital safety, practical skills, and personal responsibility.

We believe schools should lift children up, not confuse them.

Classrooms Aren’t Battlefields

Children deserve a peaceful place to grow — not to be told they were born privileged or oppressed, not to be asked to declare pronouns at age seven, and not to be burdened with adult ideologies they’re too young to fully understand.

We will bring calm back to the classroom — and clarity back to the curriculum.
