The Sikh girl reportedly abducted and converted to Islam on the pretext of marriage from Kashmir.
Sardar Paramjit Singh Sarana President of Siromani Akali Dal (Delhi) reached Srinagar and efforts were made to rescue a kidnapped girl.
According to sources, Manpreet Kaur Jinnu was kidnapped and forced to marry the elderly after changing religion from Kashmir.
Finally, the girl was rescued by efforts of Siromani Akali Dal (Delhi) and other social activists of the Sikh Community and married to Kaka Sukhpreet Singh at Gurudwara Shahid Bunga Sahib, Burzulla (Sri Nagar)
