Spectrum.Life Ranked 41st in the Deloitte Ireland 2024 Technology Fast 50 Awards

  • With over 9.8M lives looked after and more than 2M individuals using our services, content, and tools annually, Spectrum.Life is one of Europe’s fastest-growing digital health providers.

  • Our growth is fueled by the UK market, which accounts for more than 50% of the group’s total revenue in both 2023 and 2024 - a trend projected to continue into 2025.

  • In September 2024, the company proudly celebrated reaching the milestone of 300 employees.

Dublin-based digital HealthTech company Spectrum.Life has been named as one of Ireland's fastest growing tech firms, securing the 41st position in the prestigious Deloitte Ireland 2024 Technology Fast 50 Awards, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over four years, and this year marks 25 years of the programme celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship in Ireland’s indigenous technology sector.

Cumulatively, the 2024 Fast 50 winners generated €1.4 billion in total annual revenues and now employ over 6,200 people. The average revenue of companies featured in the ranking was approximately €28 million, while the average growth rate of the companies over the last four years was 572%. The awards programme also saw 11 new entrants appearing on the ranking for the first time. The companies ranked identified finding, hiring and retaining top talent and international expansion as two of the biggest challenges they face trying to grow their company.

Spectrum.Life, which specialises in HealthTech, Mental Health and Wellbeing solutions to deliver digital transformation for insurers, educators and employers, has achieved remarkable growth over the past years.

Stephen Costello, CEO and Co-founder of Spectrum.Life, expressed his enthusiasm about the achievement. He commented: “As an award-winning brand, every recognition has stature for our team and our business, but this one is of particular importance to Spectrum.Life and the ongoing growth of our business. The UK market has contributed over 50% of our group’s revenue in 2023 and 2024, with this strong performance expected to continue through 2025. This is something we are immensely proud of, and as we move from year 6 to 7, we feel this is only the beginning.”

“As we continue to grow Spectrum.Life, this recognition is a performance benchmark. Fast 50 sticks out to me due to its objectivity, as the rankings are based solely on the growth of the business. It is incredibly valuable, at home here in Ireland but also abroad. For our team, it’s an opportunity to pause and reflect on how far we have come, and this award gives them another boost to keep going”, Costello continued.

James Toomey, Partner and Fast 50 lead, Deloitte, said: “While Ireland has solidified its reputation as a global hub for technological excellence, the true highlight has been the remarkable growth of homegrown tech talent. Over the past 25 years the Fast 50 programme has been at the heart of this story, championing the innovation and ambition of indigenous tech companies in Ireland.

The Fast 50 rankings are a badge of honour, offering trusted recognition based on four years of revenue growth. This credibility distinguishes the programme, and not only identifies the tech leaders of tomorrow, but signals their readiness to scale globally. Congratulations to all the companies and individuals whose hard work and innovation have earned them a well-deserved place on this year's Fast 50 ranking - your achievements set the standard for excellence in tech.”
