The terrorist's webinar will be held on Zoom and may violate U.S. law that bans providing material support to designated terrorist organizations
San Francisco State University (SFSU) has earned a reputation as the most hate-filled college campus in the country after more than three decades of discrimination and abuse of minority students by their peers, their professors, and their administrators alike. Now, the #EndJewHatred movement is holding a protest in response to an SFSU-hosted Zoom webinar with Leila Khaled, a senior member of a U.S.-designated terrorist group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
The protest will take place tomorrow, September 22, 2020, at Zoom's headquarters in San Jose, CA.
Zoom may be violating the law by providing material support (technological services) to a prominent leader of a U.S.- designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). The Lawfare Project, which is providing legal support to #EndJewHatred, has formally warned both SFSU and Zoom of the serious legal consequences they could face.
Chaz Volk, whom The Lawfare Project previously represented in a legal action against SFSU, said:
"As a Jewish alumnus of San Francisco State University, I am horrified and deeply dismayed by SFSU's decision to host a member of a terrorist organization dedicated to killing Jews like me. This decision makes me feel unwelcome and unsafe on campus."
The protest will take place: TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 22nd 4:30 PM – 6 PM PDT Zoom Video Communications (Corporate HQ) 55 Almaden Boulevard San Jose, CA 95113
