The Government of Gujarat gears up to unveil submarine tourism for submerged Dwarka Darshan in the Arabian Sea. MOU is already signed with Mazgaon Dock Shipyard Company. This will be India’s first–ever submarine project.
The project is designed to have the opportunity to dive 100 meters below the sea surface in a specially designed submarine with a weighing capacity of 35 tons approx. Designed to accommodate 30 passengers.
According to ancient mythology, Dwarka is a submerged city created by the Lord Krishna. The project is likely to be completed before Diwali 1924.
