Madhya Pradesh is the first state in India, to start the MBBS course in Hindi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah released three books for medical science prepared in Hindi at Bhopal in the presence of Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
The MBBS course in Hindi is a part of the National Education Policy. A team of 97 doctors contributed to mission mode to start the course in Hindi. Work is going on in other languages and will be started soon.
Now it will be easier for students from rural areas, who have limitations in English to pursue the medical course in Hindi and their other regional languages.
Before Modi Government, 387 medical colleges across the country had 51000 student capacity. Now under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi, this figure increased and now India has 596 medical colleges with 89000 seats.
