Star-I team of Delhi Police Crime Branch apprehended two key accused from Jammu & Kashmir, played a major role in Red Fort Riots. Both the accused Mohinder Singh and Iqbal Singh belong to the Sabari and Goel Gujaral areas of Jammu and active members of the Kashmir United front organization.
Preliminary investigation reveals that both the accused are key conspirators and actively involved in riots. The case has been registered under appropriate sections and provisions of law and further investigation is going on.
In the name of a protest against Agriculture Reform Bills, thousands of protesters stormed into Delhi with their tractor rally on 26th January 2021 and triggered a violent face-off with police at Red Fort and ITO in the heart of the national capital. Forcefully entered into Red Fort and hoisted flags from domes of the iconic monument.
